We're a city gas utility software team deploying multiple Dify Agents for dispatch, customer service, safety inspection, and emergency response.
The lack of global skill management is our #1 blocker for scaling beyond pilot. Today we have a "Pipeline Pressure Anomaly Diagnosis" skill that 4 different Agents need — we upload and maintain 4 separate copies. Every update means re-packaging and re-uploading to each one.
What we urgently need:
One skill, multiple Agent references (edit once, apply everywhere)
A unified view: which skills exist, which Agents use them, what version each has
Runtime composability: an emergency Agent should be able to invoke skills "owned" by the dispatch or inspection Agent
We're building a workaround (a lightweight Skill Registry microservice that syncs to Agents via API), but a native solution would save the community significant effort.
Happy to share our use case details or test early builds. +1 from the energy/utility vertical.
